Temetra Wins Inspired IT Award
Temetra has won the 2006 Inspired IT Award in Business Services, presented last Friday night in Dublin by Tom Kitt TD, Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach and Government Chief Whip.
The award recognises the business benefits of Temetra - the ability to aggregate many of the Local Authorities under one management tool and provide a long-term, fully supported service.
Commenting for Temetra, Paul Barry said "We're delighted with the win, especially considering the strong competition from long established names, and reflects the research and development invested in the service over the last three years. While very successful within our specialist market, this award adds external recognition of the business service provided to our customers".
Longford recognised - Excellence in Local Government
Congratulations also to the Longford water metering & billing project team on their selection to represent County Longford in the "Excellence in Local Government" event. Of course we'd like to think Temetra had a part to play in their success, since Longford was an early adopter of Temetra, and use all the features and modules from meter reading with AMR to billing.
"We had an idea of how we wanted to organise this project and Temetra supported us in delivering that plan. For us Temetra has been integral to the success of the Longford Co Co Water Metering Project" commented Sylvia Kilcline from the metering & billing project team.
Latest announcement - Donegal County Council
Laing O'Rourke was recently awarded the Design Build Operate contract for Donegal Non-Domestic Water Metering and will use Temetra as the meter management and reading system.
Temetra will help Laing O'Rourke streamline the project process from survey, installation and onwards to the 10 year operational phase with meter reading.
This continues the Temetra and Laing O'Rourke relationship, established for the Mayo DBO contract, and we see this leading to further work together in the near future.
New Features in Temetra
Temetra now has a fully searchable audit-trail showing all the changes made to major items in the database. This can be used to track changes to items over time, but also to provide reporting, answering questions like 'How many new meters have been added in the last week', or 'Show all meters that have moved account in the last three months'.
New deviation indicators draw attention to high or low flows based on meter history, allowing you to quickly identify unusual readings as soon as a tour is complete.
