Hanley Controls and Temetra win Louth tender
Temetra has been selected by Louth County Council as their meter reading and asset management system for approximately 4,000 meters and Cyble RF transponders. Temetra's unique features made it ideal for use in Louth, with three distinct areas to be covered, but with combined management required.
This is another important win for Temetra, consolidating our lead in Ireland as supplier of meter reading systems to Local Authorities. Using our experience from other counties, we expect Louth's survey information to be imported quickly into Temetra and be ready to manage the meter roll-out, AMR commissioning and initial reads.
New servers ready for further growth
We have added another dedicated server to Temetra's IT configuration, allowing for continued growth and high-availability of the service. The new machine is now fully operational and was added with zero downtime to the Temetra service.
Over the last few months, we've also been busy making behind-the-scenes changes at Temetra to re-organise the development details. This establishes a newly cleaned up platform that allows for much easier changes in the future. This was a time-consuming but necessary process, and means the rate of upgrades should increase again shortly. The first visible part of these changes will be a new customer access application to allow viewing of readings and logger graphs by the end-user. A further announcement will be made in the new year.
