Improved AMR Reading Equipment from Actaris
Actaris have made incremental improvements to their Automatic Meter Reading equipment.
- New car antenna now available for connection to the DAP handheld
- Improves range, using the vehicle body to increase sensitivity
- Convenient reading of meters, especially in networks with a high proportion of AMR meters
- Still suitable for mixed AMR / eyeball networks
- Use a GSM modem for in-car collect and return of routes to Temetra
- RF Master is now available as a moulded compact fitting for the DAP handheld
- New modular design
- Improved antenna increases the reading range
These changes do not affect the MIUs fitted on meters and all equipment remains fully compatible with existing Cyble RF MIUs.
Improvements to Temetra Software
As part of Temetra's asset management capabilities, an unlimited number of digital photos can now be attached to meters. These can be used for identification, location information, or to show site details before installation and after re-instatement.
This improves Temetra's capabilties in line with current Irish Design Build Operate contractual requirements, allowing operators to have a single point of information on installations, with full transparency for Local Authority and the Client's Representative.
GSM loggers can now transfer up to date readings as part of the Agresso data export. Because Temetra's GSM loggers are hosted on the Internet, this allows high volume customers immediate access to trending and consumption logger data, and the Local Authority to use the same data for billing purposes, exported in the form required by financial software.
