Temetra Operating Procedure

Temetra can operate in different ways, depending on your needs

• As an Internet enabled service
  This service is available to any utility that collects data from meters. All functions are available over the Internet through our comprehensive web interface and data is transferred through file downloads or directly to your computers using web services.
  
  By using Temetra in this way, you can rapidly roll out advanced metering technologies with very low capital costs compared to traditional methods of operation.
  
  We operate the servers and software required to collect the data and you see all the information you need through a single consolidated view.
  



• As part of a Design/Build/Operate or Public Private Partnership
  This is essentially the same operating procedure as above, but an important aspect is that the users of the data have the same comprehensive services available through the Internet. All the same reporting and analysis functions are available, along with data transfers that are tailored to the user application.
  We provide all the same tools to you, irrespective of who is operating the collection of the data.
  



• As a stand-alone system
  For very large networks, it may be preferred to operate the Temetra system within your existing IT structures. We can provide the Temetra system as a stand-alone appliance, with full support facilities for operating the various collection technologies.
  Use our experience in operating advanced wireless data collection to quickly roll out the service within an organisation.
